Mechanical Vapor Recompression Evaporators (RV) from EVALED are intended for applications that produce high volumes of industrial wastewater.  Designed to treat and recycle difficult waste streams that can cause precipitation, crystal formation and component fouling on traditional equipment, the RV Series of vacuum evaporators can produce over 63,000 gallons of DI-quality distillate per day and boast surprisingly low energy consumption rates.  By recycling their wastewater back through their process and lowering operating costs, Wastech customers can enjoy a quick ROI that can often be measured in months.

Pre-programmed and fully automated through a PLC-based control panel, the RV Series of evaporators ships ready to run.  Only air, electrical and plumbing hookups are required. RV evaporators are capable of providing a true zero liquid discharge (ZLD) solution for "heavy users" of industrial process water in a climate where costs continue to rise and the enforcement of high-volume discharge penalties is increasing.

RV TC Series Forced Circulation Evaporators
hold a distinct advantage over traditional evaporators in that, through the use of external shell and tube heat exchangers, forced circulation and sophisticated blower technology, they are able to recover 90% or more of a highly contaminated waste stream with dramatically reduced cleaning and maintenance operations.

The self contained, skid-mounted design delivers reliable, continuous operation 24/7 and reduces potentially recyclable concentrate to less than 10% of it's original volume.  Additionally, the RV TC takes advantage of high recirculation through the heat exchanger, which creates efficiency and reduces problematic phenomenon such as heating surface deposits or scaling.  The result is a highly efficient system that lowers operating costs and pays for itself, often in less than 24 months.DownloadButton
