Rinse Water Recycle Systems

"We were caught washing down equipment and letting the runoff flow to the street. We solved the problem with a Wash Water Package from Wastech Controls. Now we save water with a closed system and eliminate future liability problems from contaminated water."

Wastech Controls designs and fabricates complete waste water closed loop systems. These solutions will treat wash or rinse water by automatically removing contaminants, allowing water to be reused by the pressure washer. Emulsified oils, heavy metals and other contaminants are removed from the wash water by flocculation, forming a non-hazardous sludge and leaving a clear liquid for the next process. The package includes a wash pad design for collection of heavy silt and dirt, an automated separation and filtration system, an optional secondary filtration or sanitation process, and clean water storage.

The treatment package is stainless steel, with automatic dry chemical feed, mixing and separation tanks, automatic or semi-automatic filtering using a filter paper bed or bag filters, and complete control monitoring. Water quality monitoring can be added. The system has a small footprint and has been used in a variety of industrial applications from plating to municipal equipment yards.

Wastech now also offers industrial skid-mounted water recycling systems using Kinetico ion exchange technology. Wastech CIX Series skid-mounted ion-exchange water purification systems are rated for 10-20 gpm. Wastech HFX Series skid-mounted ion-exchange systems are rated for 35-135 gpm.

Wastech engineers will custom design a complete waste water treatment system for your operation to save water and eliminate discharge compliance issues.
