Wastech Controls & Engineering, Inc. is Optimal for pH Adjustment
Wastech Controls & Engineering, Inc. is a nationally recognized process system integrator that offers complete facility equipment design for heavy metal removal, pH adjustment, and a wide variety of additional laboratory and industrial processes. While offering custom design and engineering state-of-the-art turnkey industrial process systems, Wastech’s team has proven invaluable in solving the problems that are endemic to industrial wastewater treatment applications.
In any pH adjustment system, bases are used to neutralize acids while acids are used to neutralize caustics (while not precisely synonymous, the terms caustic and base are often interchangeable). The byproducts of the system are normally salts and water. In the initial step of any wastewater treatment, pH adjustment is used to achieve an appropriate set point.
While some pH neutralization applications can be achieved using pre-designed, standard products, most applications require some level of customization. At Wastech, standard systems are available with design capacities of up to 400 gallons per minute, while custom systems are available with design capacities of up to 500 gpm.
Wastech’s pH adjustment systems are highly-versatile, with options for continuous, batch and concentrated acid and base systems alike. Further still, they have a full staff of chemical, electrical, mechanical and controls engineers, enabling them to custom design a complete solution for any application.
Among industrial activities, solvent destruction can be one of the more challenging. Solvents are hazardous, and exceptionally difficult to destroy. That's why the solvent collection system options at Wastech have become so thoroughly trusted. Whether your needs involve pH adjustment or solvent collection, you can count on Wastech Controls & Engineering, Inc. to provide industrial solutions through cutting-edge turnkey systems and innovative, practical designs.
